Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

These documents apply to your use of the CleanVid mobile and web applications. CleanVid helps you manage and save your videos—e.g., exporting, organizing, and preparing content for personal use—while respecting rights holders and applicable law. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by “Sora.”

Terms of Service

Welcome to CleanVid by Facilo LLC ("CleanVid", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CleanVid apps, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1) About CleanVid

CleanVid provides tools to help you save, organize, transform, and export your own video files (for example, trimming, re-encoding, or preparing clips). Some features may integrate with third-party platforms or devices at your choice. CleanVid is not a file-sharing network, social media platform, or public distribution service.

No Affiliation: CleanVid is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by “Sora” or any other third‑party AI/video system. Any references to third‑party services are for descriptive purposes only.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use CleanVid. If you are under the age where consent is required in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent/guardian’s permission.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any credentials you use with the Services, and for all activity that occurs under your account or device ID.

3) Your Content & Responsibility

You retain all rights to the videos and other content you import into CleanVid ("Your Content"). By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you have all rights and permissions necessary to process Your Content in the ways you choose within CleanVid.

  • Appropriate Use: You agree not to use CleanVid to process or distribute unlawful, infringing, misleading, harmful, or inappropriate content (including content that is pornographic, exploitative, harassing, hateful, or that violates privacy).
  • Third‑Party Rights: If Your Content includes third‑party material (e.g., songs, clips, logos, watermarks, or footage), you must have the rights or permission to use it. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use complies with copyright, trademark, publicity, and other applicable laws.
  • No Circumvention: You may not use CleanVid to circumvent or remove watermarks, rights management information, or safety systems on content that you do not own or do not have permission to modify.
  • Backups: You are responsible for maintaining backups of Your Content. We are not responsible for loss of data.

4) Third‑Party Services & Devices

CleanVid may interoperate with third‑party services (e.g., cloud storage) or run on third‑party devices (e.g., your mobile OS). Your use of those third‑party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third‑party services, content, or actions.

5) Software Licenses & Updates

  • We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use the CleanVid app solely for your personal, non‑commercial use, subject to these Terms.
  • We may push updates, patches, and changes to improve performance, security, or features. Some updates may be required for continued use.

6) Subscriptions, Credits, & Purchases

  • Certain features may be offered via in‑app purchases or credit packs. Prices and offerings may change from time to time. Taxes may apply.
  • All purchases are processed by the platform store (e.g., Apple App Store / Google Play) and are subject to their payment terms and refund policies.
  • Credits or access may be consumed when you initiate processing tasks. Expired, promotional, or abused credits may be voided at our discretion as permitted by law.

7) Acceptable Use

  • Do not interfere with or disrupt the Services or the networks that provide them.
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
  • Do not use the Services to infringe intellectual property or proprietary rights, or to violate the law.

8) Ownership

We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, interfaces, designs, trademarks, and documentation. Except for the limited license above, these Terms do not grant you any rights in the Services.

9) Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) for the Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

10) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleanVid / Facilo LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Services or other users. You may stop using the Services at any time.

12) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in‑app or on our site). Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance.

13) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Facilo LLC is organized, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of competent courts in that state. Where permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class action.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CleanVid by Facilo LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Services. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described here.

1) Information We Collect

  • Account / Device Info: Device identifiers, app version, OS, language, region, and limited analytics to operate and improve the app.
  • Usage Data: Interactions with features (e.g., export, encode), performance metrics, crash logs, and diagnostics.
  • Your Content: Videos or media you choose to import or process. Processing may occur on‑device and/or via our servers or trusted providers solely to perform the tasks you request.
  • Purchase Data: Transaction identifiers and receipts from the platform store to provide entitlements (we do not receive full payment card data).
  • Support Communications: Messages or emails you send to us for help or feedback.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services and core features (e.g., exporting/saving videos).
  • Verify purchases and manage entitlements or credit balances.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
  • Communicate with you about updates, changes, and service notices.

3) Processing of Your Content

Your Content is processed only to perform the operations you request (e.g., trim, export, save). Where possible, processing occurs on your device. If server‑side processing is required, we use secure transfer and storage practices and retain data only as long as necessary to deliver the feature or as required by law. You control what you import and process in CleanVid.

4) Sharing & Third Parties

  • No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell your personal information.
  • Service Providers: We may share data with vendors that help us operate the Services (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payment verification). They are bound by confidentiality and may use data only on our instructions.
  • Legal: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, property, safety, or the integrity of the Services.

5) Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Processing outputs and temporary files are purged on a schedule appropriate to the feature.

6) Your Choices & Rights

  • You may request deletion of your support records or certain logs, subject to legal requirements.
  • You can uninstall the app to stop data collection on that device. Some settings (e.g., analytics) may be controlled in‑app where available.
  • You may contact us to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, subject to verification and legal limits.

7) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can delete it.

9) International Transfers

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. We apply safeguards consistent with this Policy and applicable laws.

10) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in‑app). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updates.
